An excursion accompanied by a geologist hiking guide that will take you to the peaks of the Apennines, in a context of rare beauty, that territory of the Piacentino a few steps from Liguria that offers a splendid view of the mountain landscapes of the border. Together we will see the traces of the ancient presence of glaciers, witnessed on the one hand by the glacial circle formed on a steep slope of Mount Nero, which now houses the homonymous lake, from where the Nure is born, on the other from the surrounding flora, including the mountain pine stands out. Did you know that this is the only place in the Northern Apennines where this ancient conifer survives, insinuating its strong roots between the cracks in the rock?
We will then find ourselves at the summit of Monte Nero, where the gaze sweeps free in every direction: from the blue of the sea to the softer colors of the Alpine arc. From here we can see many mountains, from the closest to the peaks of the Apuan Alps, while looking down we will recognize all the villages of the territory of Ferriere. Going down to reach Monte Bue, the view will open up to Santo Stefano d'Aveto and Prato Cipolla.
Let yourself be surprised by a day in contact with nature in a unique setting!
