The basic mountaineering course is dedicated to those who want to learn about the mountains and to approach the high-altitude environment safely, by learning the basic techniques for travelling on snow and rock.

Program
The basic mountaineering course is for beginners and for all those who approach climbing activities for the first time. The course includes teaching, through lectures and practical tests, the basic climbing techniques you need to know to safely tackle ascents with stretches on glaciers, mixed terrain and easy climbing. The course will teach you the basics and will enable you to put them into practice through exercises that will help you to get to know the mountain environment, to learn the proper use of equipment (crampons, ice axe, ropes, etc…) and to be properly trained on risks and security issues at high altitude.
The course program we suggest can be adapted to needs and technical capabilities of the participants.
