Biking southwards on our bikes we will discover some monuments of the Euganean Hills. We will see the Castle of Catajo, Villa Emo and its wonderful garden, the romantic village of Battaglia Terme, always linked to the fluvial navigation, Villa Selvatico and then reach the Lago della Costa, one of the most important naturalistic-archaeological sites of the Euganean Hills and UNESCO heritage. Our half-way will be Arquà Petrarca, the second most beautiful medieval village in Italy.
Then we will discover the Castle of Lispida, where King Vittorio Emanuele II lodged on the occasion of the signing of the armistice of the First World War. We will stop here for a short half-way break.
